Milestones in Chetla Agrani Club’s journey from 1959 onward.

  1. 1959

    The beginning

    Established as Imperial Ground, the club later adopted the name Agrani Club.

  2. 1970

    Chetla Agrani Club

    The club took its present name and developed the Agrani Football Tournament.

  3. 1990

    A clubhouse and growing celebrations

    A temporary club room was built, while themed Kali Puja celebrations expanded.

  4. 2006

    Developing the facilities

    The official history records donation of the property to Kolkata Municipal Corporation and infrastructure improvements.

  5. 2007

    Durga Puja takes centre stage

    Durga Puja became the club’s principal festival.
